I need some advice

I was just wondering if I were to have one single pressure washer that runs at 5gpm and then were to get an attachment to connect two guns to it if it’d work out. I’m assuming both guns would run at 2.5gpm? Also since it’s only a 5gpm machine would I be able to use somebody’s spigot for that or would I have to get my own tank?

I feel like running two guns off one pressure washer would be hell on your unloader. You’re both not pulling the trigger at the same time. One gun and you’re pressure is maxed out and 2.5 gpm going through your unloader, then the other gun on and that 2.5 redirected. This will be a constant battle and bad idea. What would be the point of doing this??? One gun at 5 gpm will clean just fast as two at 2.5.

Also, I wouldn’t push 5 gpm on spigots. Sure some will supply it, but many will not and you’ll destroy your pump. I run a 4 gpm since I don’t carry a buffer tank, and I’ve some houses barely have enough.

I had a house yesterday that only put out 3gpm. Had to stop several times waiting for the tank to recharge on a 1000 sq/ft driveway.

Even if you get a 20 gallon tank with a 5gpm machine it’s vastly better than running off the spigot. You’ll need a belt drive though.

You getting .30 sqft. In Louisville for concrete?

Depends, typically 20-25. Anything more and I get the “my son n law will do it”.
