Not really though, right? There are already a ton of posts relating to this and similar CRM topics. I don’t think most guys are super eager to walk someone through how to email their clients to garner more referrals. I could be wrong I guess.

I think referrals depend on your market area. I don’t get a ton but most of the houses I clean are 2nd homes at the shore so people don’t have large network of friends with 2nd homes and friends in their neighborhood.

It’s pretty simple. Email your clients and ask them if they would refer you to friends or family. If they do and they person schedules give them $20 off their next service or whatever incentive you think up. There isn’t any magic to referrals, you just have to do a good job and ask for them.

@Chris references it in his marketing blueprint book (available to read online free through here) that he uses $50 visa gift cards for referrals leading to jobs. I intend to use a system where if they spend over $349 I’ll send $25 and over $499 I’ll send $50. He said one guy was just constantly sending him work if I remember correctly.

I’ve never been one to purchase referrals for discounts, essentially what they are. I let it naturally happen. New customer and no expectations for similar pricing etc

If you want the kind of referral program that can be automated, I suggest getting a free account with GrooveFunnels: Groove.cm GrooveFunnels, GrooveMail with CRM and Digital Marketing Automation Platform - Groove.cm with GrooveFunnels, GroovePages, GrooveKart

I believe today is one of the last days that they’re offering a free lifetime account, no credit card needed. You’ll get GroovePages, GrooveSell and GrooveAffiiliate free for life. Affiliate is the one you want. It’s mainly meant for digital products, but I’ll bet it can work for services too. Even if it doesn’t, you’ll get the other two softwares for free.

Full Disclosure: I am an affiliate of this software, but I don’t get paid for anyone who signs up for free, which is what I’m recommending. I don’t get paid unless/until someone upgrades to the paid version.
