half the work is landing the job, the other half is doing it right. The lift for sure if doing the roof, but… something tells me they don’t know about that.

This is an example of my area. Give a quote, guy crunches numbers, figures he will save $75 -$100 doing it himself with a lift, and walla, next youtube video. Sure they damage stuff and don’t do it right, but they SAVED money.
On a side note, guy knew enough to put stuff under the outriggers to keep from making divots all through his yard. But…he didn’t do didly about his truck or lift tires.

So i used to be ignorant about soft washing. And i pressure washed houses. But this guy doesn’t even get it clean at all 
. What’s the point of washing it if it’s still dirty. It hurts to watch.

He’s having fun! I would definitely do this if I was a homeowner and not in this industry. I hate paying for services I can do myself especially if I’m going to have fun doing it

He’s just watering the mildew. I watched a homeowner down the street paint over the green stuff on his vinyl siding. He got 3 feet of overspray on the roof. The following week a pallet of shingles popped up in the driveway, you know the rest.

If this was actually the proper way to clean a house- I would quit. What a colossal waste of time and resources for such a little to no real effect.
Just talked to a local “competitor” and he was excited to tell me he got the local school district contract for exterior cleaning of all the schools, 5 of them up to 3 stories.
I asked him what he was planning on using, he said he just picked up a new pressure washer, took me over to his truck and had this exact PW’er from HD🤣 A 2.4 gpm 3300psi.
