Hydrant permit Sussex County Delaware

Searched and can’t find a hydrant link for LSD. Anyone using one?

Lsd?..

Hey Mark!!! Sorry I’m no help for your question, just another guy located in Delaware saying hi.

Delaware has only three counties.
Sussex county is in the lower part of the state.
LSD is Lower Slower Delaware.
The politically correct have “corrected” that to SLD (Slower Lower Delaware) because of that evil reference to “LSD” heaven forbid strike me dead!
I am old and still use the “correct” term.

I’m from NC with 100 counties. Even so, each town has its own water dept and meter requirements.

Right, I searched in other states and found great info online on how to lease a meter, deposit, emailing meter readings, etc, I just can’t seem to find it for LSD. I am perfectly happy to pay a reasonable deposit, purchase a hydrant wrench and pay reduced water fees, I just don’t know who to pay?!? Hydrants would be perfect for community sidewalk and concrete jobs. I can’t see using residential homes for community cleaning needs. And I don’t want to haul water.

Here is info for wilmington Delaware

I washed a place called arbor place or point or something like that a few years ago

Thanks, that’s UFD.
Upper Faster Delaware!

Just search the city you need a hydrant in.

Here is our water tower, looks like it’s a private company, and not a municipal service. Oh well, I guess we are setup differently here on the coast.
WaterTower

I guess we are just too small…

Or call tidewater utilities. They are the ones that provide water to ocean view. On a side not, water towers don’t necessarily hold water in storage, they provide head pressure to keep the mains under pressure

I would call tidewater…they should be able to point you in the right direction. If not then call the town number above. The address for the municipal building is 201 Central Avenue, Ocean View De. They should be able to help also. Good luck
