How would you clean this? I got tomorrow this job and I am not sure how to do it

My plan is to do the following:

  • Blow all leaves & remove things in the pavement.
  • Rinse with water pavement + grass
  • Pre-treatment softwash with hypo (%) for now I think I have only bleach, dont know - -
  • how much should I dilute it)
  • apply 4GPM cold powerwasher with 50cm surface cleaner (which tips should I use?)
  • rinse
  • (post treatment?(dont know if i should apply any chemical)

Either wash it or don’t!

As I said in the title, I am going to clean it tomorrow, thats why I am asking if this is the proper way to do it.

If you dont use chems, it will likely look almost the same as when you started. Use a pump up sprayed if you dont want yellow edges af those hedges.

Okay, then I’ll oblige you.

• Yes, remove any loose debris.
• No need to rinse before applying pretreat. You can saturate the nearby grass if it makes you feel better.
• You’ve been here 55 days and don’t know the difference in SH and bleach so I’ll just leave that one alone.
• Again, nearly two months on this forum talking about washing something and you still don’t know dilution ratios for flatwork.
• No one here other than the Canuckians know how big 50cm actually is. Convert that to Freedom Units and then we’ll know.
• Yes, always rinse after surface cleaning. Large areas should be split into sections and rinsed as you move along.
• Post treatment helps with lines left from the surface cleaner. I do it every time. That decision is yours to make.

You need to research more .
8hr read time and 22 topics created is backwards in 55 days.
My opinion and 2 cents only.

Thanks for the help!
Well, not sure about the hypo things, from what I know bleach is hypo in different % depending on the type of bleach, but I could have also any additive for example for smell which might be bad for powerwashing or something I don’t know. Also I don’t know what % would be great to use in this surface of hypo, something like 3%??

50 cm are 19.85 inch

For post treatment should I use also bleach?? On other thread someone mentioned oxalic acid or something like that.

Okay, thanks, I though I could do it downstreamed but not sure how to use the machine properly so I guess pump spray it will be easier.

Yeah, definitely you are right, my bad. I am with exams in the university right now and my head is a bit “hurt” :pensive:

@PW.SP did you really take a job and have zero idea what you are doing. Please tell me you were at least honest with the customer. Why dont watch @Racer video

Okay, thank you

Thanks for the tool, what % do you think its appropiate of final hypo on water (3%)?

Have you tried searching what % to use? I just did a very quick search and found multiple threads with mix ratios.
