How would you brighten this concrete?

Working up a quote for this bank that recently purchased this property. You could see the word “STATE” unweathered on the concrete.

I haven’t done a test spot yet, but what would you use if SH doesn’t work?

They’re kinda screwed. The holes are still going to be there. If you get it lightened, which you can probably do, may need to acid wash if the SH doesn’t get, but then if all that panel is lighter, going to stand out from rest of building. They’re best bet might be to just get a solid backed sign that would cover all of that. Ask @Seandz, he’s the sign expert

There is nothing on that to CLEAN it needs restoration. A media blasting company would be my first guess .

Looks like the whole building could be cleaned. Curious what they used to get the color, looks like some integral mix cream top finish. The city’s ordinance will dictate if a backer can be used. I would probably just get a custom paint match (even though it’s probably not paint) and paint the sign band break to break.
