How would you access these areas?

Yeah I had thought of it but I wasn’t sure if I would be taking a bleach bath. That’s an option but I’m trying to figure out a few different plans

I got mine from Sergio at L&H, Puts out 11gpm. You’ll need 5/8" hose to maximize distance w/o too much mist. Mine is setup with separate batch tank now, but when I redo trailer going to go with a high flow proportioner. Think Midwest has one. What you do is is run extra hose for bypass to let pump cool some - see pic towards middle of page. Saves not having to batch mix -

Yes on a job this big I don’t want to batch mix. I Was looking at Midwest proportioner. They are located in Indy, which is where I am. I’ll check out the link you posted a bit later, got a few jobs today. Thanks for all the help everyone!

This is the one I have, love it.

Yeah that looks sweet and 290# sounds like I’d get great distance. He’s currently out of stock of the total built skid and I’d be on a time crunch. I could build it myself easily if I had time for some trial and error, modifications etc but right now I’d be ok with spending the extra money and having someone else build it. Maybe I’ll call them later

Russ Johnson at Southside in Louisville Ky has one too and he’s closer to you. Price about the same.

You only run them about 175 psi. With 5/8" hose get a little over 7gpm at end of hose.

I’m surprised MW doesn’t have them

Are you talking 5/8 suction for the pump or the high pressure hose you’re using 5/8?

No, you’re output hose on the reel. Just regular 5/8" kuritec. Incoming is like 1" on those pumps

Ok. Now what about all that head pressure with the pump being on the ground and the gun being about 30-35 feet up. You think I’ll loose a decent amount of pressure or flow?

No, that’s reason I went with gas. It’s really not head pressure that gets you anyway, it’s friction loss in the hose is a much bigger factor. On 12v it’s more of a problem - you have both. 12V with 200-300’ of 1/2" hose, you get up 30’ and can lose 10’ of distance.

The other thing with the gas, it’ll shoot 10’ further than any air system ever dreamed of shooting and because you only run that little Honda about 1/2 throttle, it runs forever on tank of gas, probably 2.5 hours and you can run all day long and lot less noisy than a compressor.

Perfect for soaping or rinsing houses or anything else too, for that matter.

Well I’m sold. It may be more expensive than a 12 volt but you gotta spend money to make money and I hate having sub-par equipment. If I had the right tools I could build you a spaceship. When you try and pull an engine with string you always fail.

MW shows one on one of their skid units so they may have. That would be ideal to get machine from them and have set up with their proportioner on your trailer, then you could test it all out right there. But make sure you get 5/8" hose for it. With the 1/2 you get about 2gpm less flow as well as more mist.

How do you guys go about protecting aluminum window frames on a building this size?

Pre-wetting and rinsing good is the best option in my opinion.

Dont spray chemical directly on the either then rinse immediately
