How to un-gray a deck that has a clear sealer?

Suppose, hypothetically, a deck has a water-based clear sealer. There’s not much protecting it from the UV and it will still gray out. How do you bring back the natural wood color? SH and oxalic aren’t going to penetrate the sealer, right? So the only thing I can really think of is a complete strip which is not going to be easy when it’s a water-based sealer that you can’t even see!

Trick question… i dont, the other guy they call can.

I dont know about all the sealers and whatnot, but almost have to strip it down.

Ruin your equipment? What are you talking about?
