How to talk to home owners about oxidation on their house

Hello! I am wondering how to talk to customers about oxidation on their house.
From what I have read a lot of businesses have the customer sign a Terms and Conditions paper stating they aren’t responsible for the siding looking uneven after the wash due to existing oxidation.
I will be washing and rinsing with low pressure tips so oxidation removal shouldn’t be a problem, but I want be prepared just in case. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

If you are doing on-site quotes where you (or a member of your business) is physically walking around the property before the quote is provided then I would take photos of obvious existing oxidation disturbance or point them out to client if they are on-site. Explain what it is, and offer to remove it for “x” of dollars if you want to offer that up sell.
If not inspecting each property before providing quote, simply state that your process should minimize disturbance of any existing oxidation, and that your “regular/standard/basic/etc” wash fee does not remove oxidation build-up. But, once again, offer it as an up sell if you like.

However you want to talk to them about it…before the wash. If after the wash, apologetically and very carefully, lol.

Just email them estimates explaining your soft washing process and state in the terms that it does not include oxidation removal.

This is mine: Exterior low pressure house wash with soap and detergent to eliminate mildew, moss, algae. Pre-wetting to protect plants, shrubs, flowers. Includes gutter, soffit, fascia, trim, siding. Post rinsing to clear excess dirt and grime. Does not include oxidation or stain removal.

I usually email estimates for bigger type jobs, but would be a good habit to do for all lol
