Anyone have any idea how I can remove this or any tips?
Pipe wrench? Double-nut if there’s enough thread?
Pipe wrench and brute strength!
Thanks I’ll try that
It just keeps slipping
Tighten the pipe wrench? You could also grind a couple of flat spots if it’s a decently thick pipe and throw a wrench on it. Or if you have a couple of 1/4" (3/8"? idk) nuts with the right thread and there’s enough tighten them against each other and turn the inner one to loosen. Or, if you have a welder just tack a nut on the end and turn. Might also be able to throw it in a vise and yeet the hell out of it if it’s a good vise and just turn the gun.
Do you know how it was attached? (Tread locker and type if so) I would use a penetrating oil like liquid wrench and give it a few hours. You can recoat a time or two and keep tapping for a few minutes with a wrench or something to help it work through the treads, though I don’t know if this will work if you have threadlocker or tape on it. Heat may work, but I would make that my last resort as Im not sure if it would ruin the gun.
Try not to strip it, otherwise a big pair of vise grips will be what you need.
After zooming in, I would recommend going to buy a strong nut to put on the end with some antiseize so you can have a chance of taking it off, and then torque it off. Maybe someone else has a better idea as I can see that potentially ruining the lance.
Thanks I’ll try it I tried heat it didn’t budge.
Counter clockwise with a good grip ;>)
