So here is the question… I am a roofer and I do shingles, commercial flat roofs and coatings. I have a 6000 psi / 9gpm machine. Since I dont do flat roofs everyday and the equipment sits I want to use it for other things. Such as concrete cleaning or siding. I know that at 6I psi I’m going to destroy things. So is lowering the psi just as easy as different tips?
Yep sure is
Yes sir, now let’s see this 6000k psi machine!
Yes it is. Now show is that 50 hp engine. I’m curious
Maybe he just got the specs off the 2 wire hose
This better be a sweet rig. But yes. Just change the tips and it will lower the pressure.
Sorry guys I f-ed up the washer is only 3850 psi…the spray rig for the coatings is 6k psi. To many numbers in my head. So here are the pic after it was put together. It is in a 28’ enclosed trailer.
Now fellas, Be nice. Remember the mission statement…
Nice looking rig @Continental !
Brilliant lil chimney on that sucker! I dig the Vanguard and the over use of stainless
It’s a nice rig I dont think I would mount it that close to the wall but to each his own. Who built it. You can clean anything you want to with that set up
Interesting to see they used a 50 AND a 80 mesh filter and then piped it through some steel that’s just going to send trash to the pump.
Oh snap I need to see how they tensioned that new style Winco generator. Can you take a pic of the base the generator sits on? @Continental Pretty please
I will. It will be about a week before I can send it. I took an impromptu vacation. Lol
@dperez should I change it and if so and recommendation on how or what to change.
Put some fire wall back there behind it you’ll be golden. Make sure you leave room in front to move it though, so you have room to work on it in the future.
Thank you man I greatly appreciate it! I run the older Winco 2fs generators and now I’m having to build new machines to run the new TB2400’s
Two brass hose barb adapters and a non collapsible hose between
I would slide a some metal or a wood stove heat plate would work perfectly.
Thank you for the replys and the recommended changes. I never even considered putting any sort of fire block behind it. I did mount it a little to close to the wall. Lol that is what insurance is for hahaha. What I love the most is that it is remote controlled. I can start / stop, burner on / off all from being on the roof without having to come down a ladder.
