Hustle.

You’re not signing multi year contracts unless you’re somebody. I believe you’re asking about acquiring accounts to service. Number one, 9 times out of ten they are happy with their current situation. Number two, they are too busy, too loyal, and plain just don’t care enough to mess around with entertaining your offer.

Had you got in the game 20 years ago it would have been easier. But to answer your question, you can buy out companies that are closing their doors, wash for free for 6 months or simply just keep your ear to the ground. In this day and age fleet washing is a race to the bottom. Way better pay out there for your lil PW.

Finding the right guy to talk to is key. Terminal Managers and general managers are the ones you want to talk to. Be prepared to give demos, you may get one after 10 demos

Funny i just started washing a year ago, i have 12 accounts 4 small weekly ones and 8 big ones i bidded on for 2 years. I also wash dumpsters weekly too. I used to work for the biggest washing place in our town. Now that i learned how to get contracts its simple. I dont advertise none of my trucks or trailers are wrapped either. I use EDDM for residental dumpster washing. Ive gotten 200 customers with bins to wash for that. Now how to get truck washing fleets its easy. Find a freight broker and offer him a 100 bucks. I do it whenever i need another contract. They already have the relationship built. Just dont grow to big. Workers are hard to find.
