How to divert muffler exhaust

Tyvm…
Ptrap…must be metal

I use the run a piece of sheet metal on my tank, then I realized I had ran 6 hours without it and the tank was fine…ever since then I haven’t ran heat shields and my exhaust is only 3 feet from the tank pointed directly towards it. Never been an issue

I kind of wondered if it would be fine. It’s kind of like how you can heat a plastic water bottle full of water over a fire and it doesn’t hurt the plastic at all. I guess you’d have to watch it as the water level in the tank went down.

@Ikii There are plastic ones but definitely use the metal! They have them in 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" so measure your exhaust or ask BlueLine which one to get.

or aluminum

Or just switch sides on the trailer.

Lol, i place it where i usually pull onto clients side

Sheet metal on the tank to fine

Cool air occupies the space in front of the “wall”. The “wall” does not allow the cool air to get “knocked out”. My horizontal burner exhausts straight up about 6 inches in front on my primary tank. The heaviest wind blowing into the tank still wont bend the exhaust enough

Ditch the flat stock and the end clamp and just do a loop with it to turn it down

I might have to do this, so I appreciate the write up on this. One question. What does this red fuse holder do? Is that connect to the fuse behind the keybox, so you don’t have to unscrew/open it to replace blown fuses? ikii exhaust divert 03

Yes.
Never had to replace it yet

I would highly recommend wiring the fuse on the outside of that ignition box. It will be a pain on the job to take that apart to gain access to the fuse and you will, if you want it to run. Mine is out of the box too, just in case. Do it while you’re building your current setup, a lot easier. Some retail companies that sell Honda make the fuse so it’s on the outside of that box to help you out…

I got the fuse holder now. Does anyone have a close up picture of which two ends the fuse holder is connected to? Do I take out the fuse inside the ignition box once this one is installed?

Hi guys, does anyone with an enclosed trailer end up installing an exhaust towards the ground or through the ceiling? Could you post a picture? Any recommendations?

I would like to reduce noise and exhaust fumes on passerbys walking with their kids, as well as not having exhaust fumes in our faces when we approach the machine. Thanks.

It seems i can’t edit my post for some reason. I would like to add that i want to reduce noise and exhaust fumes in ours and passerbys’ faces.

My hot water machine has the engine exhaust going through the floor and exits behind the driver side rear tire on my enclosed. Burner exhaust goes through the ceiling. I seen a post once on facebook awhile ago of a guy who did something very similar, but he added a muffler.
I personally don’t think the engine exhaust on mine is that loud, the added pipe seemed to quiet it down, at least in my mind.

Order a bend from Vibrant performance thats a tight 90 and whatever other pipe or length your heart desires and get the pipe so its 1 1/2” ID your tip is a 1.5 OD. Or just order a bolt on muffler thats the exact same that fires the direction you need. They make fire sideways or the other direction and also ones that are higher up and side mount.
