Hi there, I’m new to pressure washing and I have a question about the clean up after finishing cleaning a driveway. I’ve cleaned two driveways with my surface cleaner and both times I have ended up with a pile of sand and dirt at the end of the driveway.
What can I do to avoid this?
Sorry didnt know in hit ghost button…
Dirt and sand has to go somewhere… just have to push it to a drain or disperse it however… ive shoveled, broomed, etc some larger piles but normally dont do that
The driveway I cleaned today was about 100 feet from the nearest drain. Long way to be pushing a big pile of dirt. I guess there isn’t much of an alternative. Maybe I should try pushing everything onto the lawn instead of towards the street?
It sucks to switch back and fourth sometimes… but long drives, pushing out to the sides is prolly easiest.
I spray it away from driveway down street. The next rain storm will carry it away. Might not be the best way but I never had a complaint.
Disperse it evenly on the curbside and it’ll be gone within a day. Wind from vehicles driving past or rain will take it away. If excessive, then shovel it into garbage bag and dispose.
Once in a while disconnect the sc and use your ball valve to rinse off to the sided
