How much Sh

I understand the mix ratios and what percent to use on the different surfaces. However I do not know how much sh I will need to down stream a 2000 sqf house for example. Would 5 gallons be enough or will need more or less. I am using a 4 gpm at 4000 psi. Not sure what the size of my injector is.

Five gallons of bleach should be more than enough. You might go through five gallons of mix, but not straight bleach. I’d bring extra bleach to keep in truck/trailer in the event you need it though - you never know when the customer will ask about an additional out building, perhaps add the driveway they originally declined, etc.

I use about 2.5-3 gallons on a normal 2-story house. Ranch, I could get away with 2 if its not too bad. I spray at about a 0.6-0.7% hitting the house.

Thank you. This helps put my mind at ease concerning the amount I will need to spend on SH. I feel much better now knowing that my prices should make me a profit. At least after all the start up cost and upgrades

So for the .6% you I assume you down stream a 50%/50%mix

The way I do it is nothing like how you do, so I won’t even get into my setup. I can tell you for most houses I downstream straight 12.5% at 19:1.

Fair enough.

Start with 5 gallon pail- add three gallons of SH and 2 gallons of water. Downstream that and see if that works. If it is instantly melting the mildew off, on the next batch you make use more water and less bleach in the mix.
Without knowing what % your bleach is (and even then that’s just a number on the side of the bottle) or what your injector is pulling at it is all just purely speculation.

Looked up the injector and it pulls 20%. Not sure what that equates to as a ratio

Try above method. Adjust as needed. Don’t fret over the difference between .65 and .7 or even .8. Just experiment and adjust as you deem necessary.

DO NOT!!! forget surfactant

Good point, he never mentioned it. Cory, what are you using for your surfactant and how much?

Haven’t got one yet thinking of going with apple blossom

If you’re batch mixing, then downstreaming, the red dye in that will do nothing for you. The bleach will kill the color before it gets onto the house. I like Elemonator a lot. I don’t think it masks the smell of bleach much, but it suds good and rinses very nicely, especially on windows. I haven’t tried any other simply because I haven’t found a downside to it yet. I use 1 oz. per gallon, but I know many guys use less with good results.

That is what i use but have been thinking of the southern draw. Havent done enough reasearching to know what product is superior yet though.
