While we’re on he topic I just started watching Ghosted… maybe not for those sensitive to vulgarity though. I like to think that there’s a place and time for everything.
Remember the guy who wanted to sell us his advice to be successful on Facebook? His ad just came up in my newsfeed?? Ughhhh
Don’t forget Hogans Heroes and Cannon. We definitely had the best shows
I saw too much Mash, HH, and Rockford in the 70s. I can’t watch them now. My wife loves shows from the 70s though!
In his defense chris he had 5k views

Hi @florida_condo_cleani I have read these forums up and down for almost a year and decided to create an account today. I have read many of your replies along the way and has definitely help a lot to grow my business. So I would like to thank you for that. If its not of any disrespect I live in central Florida and done a few terra cotta roof jobs with great success but I have trouble pricing the large homes. In this case its a 3110sqft. Pitch is medium high, very black cause all they ever used in the past is water and surface cleaner, 90% of the time I shoot from the ladder, residents love that. I quoted them 775 (.25 cents per sqft) but for some reason that doesn’t seem right for florida to me. is it high/just right? thanks in advance
Honestly when it comes to prices . There all over the place . Endless your goal is volume like me price really doesn’t matter much . As long as you feel it’s a fair price. Meaning your making profit with being a crook .
Some will only charge $250 others will charge $900
My prices will certainly be lower than your mainly because I don’t get a chance to meet with people ahead of time or we’re bidding on multiple units .
Btw we never clean from a ladder. Especially on barrel tile . To many areas are hidden from view from the gutter line . You really can’t be a roof cleaner if you not comfortable on roofs. Especially tile roofs
I appreciate you in taking the time to reply. Prices are everywhere and I am starting to learn more about it. Volume does sound about right especially in this line of business with somewhat low overhead expenses. “As long as you feel it’s a fair price, meaning your making profit without being a crook” says a lot to me. I wasn’t being a crook but I was trying so much to work with the market that it was driving me a bit crazy cause there is no consistency. So I will start just do me and make ends meet.
I am convinced its unpractical and time consuming to shoot from the ladder since I do enjoy being thorough.
I am not insured to go on roof so I specifically avoid terra cotta/barrel roof for the fact that they can easily be cracked. I’ve gotten up there with client’s consent to reach the peak areas that I can’t get from the gutter line as well as any area I missed.
The community in my area had so many bad experiences that HOA actually do not allow roofs (Tile type roofs) to be walked on by washers anymore.
I appreciate your wisdom/experience once again. I started in October of last year and between you racer/innoncentbystander and many others along with lots of prayer I was able to get a good reputation
