Why?
Mainly for employee retention. If your building a company of 50 or more employees, your going to want to recruit employees who are going to be around for a while. Most good employees want health insurance. If your company doesn’t have it and has no plans to add it in the future, a lot of your better employees will eventually leave for a company that provides it. Of course not everyone will leave, but when your dealing with 50 plus employees, I guarantee more will stick around if health insurance is provided. It also improves morale and reduces absenteeism.
