How do you actually get the detergents into your pressure washer so you can apply onto surface you are cleaning?

Doesnt seem like he is but “so new”. He has the terms, pretty simple from there.

If you are that new you don’t need to be on this forum. This site is for pressure washing contractors, not home owners. He does appear to be smarter than you give him credit for though. If you don’t like the answers or opinions given, don’t read them. But, don’t tell another grown man to answer or not post at all.

I go away fro a weekend and y’all loose it, LOL! Maybe we can ask the owners to make someone click that they used the search prior to asking a question. Although I do agree he was very new and probably put in the word chemical which led him to a million hits. Hard to make heads or tails out of the search sometimes.

Research “downstreaming” … that’s square one… if you have a 2.5 gallon machine, dont bother… trust me, been there done that lol.

May I ask I why not?
Not that I have/ am getting a 2.5 gpm but is it just not enough or is it not a commercial unit? Im looking at a 4gpm

The difference in effective AND efficient cleaning between 4 gpm and 8 gpm is life changing. Between 2.5 and 8 gpm is earth shattering. You’ll question everything you ever knew.

A 2.5 gpm pump isn’t likely built to be run daily either. Very likely to regret that purchase right out of the gate.

I met a guy at the hose store yesterday putting together a valve system to join together two 8gmp washers together… I was floored.

I am content running a 4gpm and not having to go the extra step to carry water for the extra draw… perhaps a few years from now when I am twinning together two 8gpm’s together I’ll know what it’s all about …

That’s beyond necessary. There are diminishing returns above 4000 PSI and eight GPM unless you’re doing exclusively flat work. I’m of the opinion that the difference in cleaning between 2.5k and 4k PSI for 90% of the stuff that we see is negligible. If you go above 10 gallons per minute you have to change out all your Hoses and stuff too.

That makes sense.
