Hello friends.
Customer contacted me, said he needed acid wash. Said they tried usual pressure washer and brick stains did not come off. It is a new construction and he claims its a mud stains. What can be used on these mud stains? Will the usual SH house wash take em off?
Yes acid, a normal housewash won’t do anything for those. You can go to the search function and type in mud stains or red clay stains and a ton of threads will pop up for more details about cleaning that
Looks like rust from the sprinkler head right there
Rust or mud, an acid. I suggest f9 Efflo, one restore, even EBC has worked for Rick on red clay mud. I had tried scrub with a deck brush for these results
I use OneRestore…
Thank you guys.
Make sure to do a test spot before going to town. Acid can remove color from matetials. But I’m extra cautious about that at this point.
I had better luck with onerestore than F9 efflo for mud stains on limestone. Efflo worked as well but took several more coats.
Restoreone is the only cleaning product that the national historical society recommends for limestone. As far as I am aware. So, I’m not suprised you had good results.
I have not tried it myself, but I have seen good results downstreaming hydrofluoric acid, for red clay.
One Restore is amazing on rust/oxidation. Used it yesterday on a bad metal planter stain.
