Hey guys I’m in Houston and have been thinking about jumping into the washing game part time. I’m planning on trying to do mostly flat concrete, residential driveways and stuff. I have some questions about general practices specifically related to Houston. I’ve read the Houston BMPs (I linked to the ones I read below) and it seems like washing a driveway is fine without chemical? So are standard Houston practice to wash, rinse, and then post treat? I think that might fall within the bounds of not needing to deal with capturing the water. Or is this kinda like the red headed step kid, and no one does anything but also doesn’t talk about it?
I have tried searching and most of the info that comes us is from 2011 when it seems like the EPA was getting involved with the wash of a parking garage.
