Hey guys all my pool supply stores are out of 12.5%. I downstream 8 to 1 so I’m thinking about just picking up household 8.5% bleach. Shouldn’t be an issue right?
Probably gonna be okay. If you use Elemonator it supposedly boosts the chlorine a bit so that might help.

Check the date code on the bottle, I bought some a couple years ago that turned out to be 6 months old.

Last fall I was out of 12.5% and bought the cheap 8.25% from Menards. I went through a little more per house but it still worked just fine.

Yep…just not as economical, but should be fine for run of the mill house wash.

I still have a little 12.5% left in my tank so I’ll just mix the 8.5% in with it.
