Hour meter recommendations

I’ve gone through 3 of these with in a year. The most i’ve gotten out of them is 126 hours. Does anyone have a recommendation for an hour meter that you can trust? Do you prefer digital or analog?

I’ve had pretty good success with the little digital models that are sealed and you just wrap a sensor wire around your ignition wire. I have one on my pw’er and one on my snowblower. The pw’er has 320+ hours on it currently, on its 4th season now, and sees all types of weather.

The snowblower is still under 100 hours, but just saw its third season, also in less than ideal conditions.

I would definitely recommend getting one with a built in tachometer

In a sense. Still mostly windows, but progressively adding more pw’ing. I think I racked up about half of those hours just in the last year.

That’s weird, my salesman said buy a really expensive hour meter, get a free engine

@mwpws man you got jipped! When I was a salesman I’d sell someone a $50k hat and they’d get a free Mahindra tractor package!
