Hot Water Machine Rental

Any Eastern NC contractors know where I can rent a hot water machine for a day? I have a bid for some dumpsters that are part of a larger package deal. I did some searching but didnt find much.

If you call sunbelt double check the GPMs. When I first started calling around they were renting 3.5 gpm hot water units around here. 4 gpm is almost worthless for large quantities of concrete. 3.5 is a waste of money and time.

What’s your project?

The ones I see sitting in front of there stores around here look good sizes there all MTM hot water units

Might be bigger. But the ones they were renting were definitely Mi-T-M machines.

I called Nick this am, he said they no longer rent hot water machines due to people returning them roughed up. I am going to call a Sunbelt in Wilmington and see what they have. There is one in Greenville too.

I have the opportunity to bid on some town homes and the management hates how dirty the dumpsters are. She wants a separate quote for cleaning them and the pads. Im not sure if it is a deal breaker but it seems like it would help me get more work down the road.

Just an update for all my ENC brethren, Sun Belt Rental in Wilm rents hot water trailer setups. The specs are: Mi-T-M 6gpm @ 3500psi, with 250 gal tank. Price is $250/24 hours.

Then again, I’ve read quite a lot, and I’ve read that you cannot clean only oil and bubble gum with cold water. Just a thought to consider.

If you only need the hot water for dumpster pads 4gpms will do unless they’re unusually massive. You can use cold water on most residential sidewalks.

The 6gpm is just what they have available. They didnt seem to have other options. I don’t use hot water on anything else

That’s a decent machine for flat work. @ $250 rental cost theyre going to meed to habe alpt of dumpsters for you to make profit. I usually get around $50-100 for a dumpster pad depending on the size and frequency of cleaning and whether or not I have to reclaim.

I think there are six of them. Pretty nasty.
