Hot Box Q:Good Deal?

Comes with a 90 day warranty, and they call it refurbished, selling for $2500. Do I need it? Is it a good deal?

Personally. I think this is a bad deal. I could get way more with 2500 dollars. But that’s just me. and my area

You are correct about more for the $$. I know that Jan & Feb are coming, and I don’t know what business I might be missing by not having a hot box. Thought I’d try to stir up a debate about the virtues of a hot box and decide whether it’s a good buy.

Just realized you were near me by the pressure works sticker on the unit. My regular supplier. They were selling a brand new one for a little over $3k so doesn’t sound like a great deal but I have thought about the same setup just skeptical of going with only a 4gpm machine setup if doing commercial. I’m still new in my first year so commercial I’m still trying to get into.

Unless you’re cleaning kitchen hoods it’s pretty much a waste of money

No.
You just need a hot box new are $1600

Unless you are going after kitchen hoods or small patches of greasy concrete, let it go. Hot water freezes faster than cold water so it probably won’t help you much with winter cleaning.

Is the coil even stainless?? If not it will be a rust bucket in no time!!

While there are stainless coils, ive never seen 1 for sale. Ive only seen them in the UK youtube vids. Id be inclined to think theyre high dollar.

Thanks everyone, I’ll just pass and spend that $$ elsewhere
