Hose reel inlet size

Looked online but can’t find anything for the inlet size on a Legacy stackable hose reel. The one for the garden water supply hose has some adapter that busted on me and I’m not sure what the female npt size should be. It’s also cemented on so every attempt to remove it is stripping the bolt.

I’ve been using a cut down 50’ flexzilla 3/4" in the meantime but its nice to be able to have 100’ to unreel as needed. I’m sure the manufacturer cheaped out and used the same reel as the pressure hose with the smaller inlet, so yeah it slows down fillup time.

What on earth is going on here? Adaptors on adaptors?

probably 1,/2in

Got a straight half inch GH-F to NPT-M. Yeah the 3/8" adapter was stupid and I have no idea why they did that other than it’s all they had in the parts bin and were cheap. So instead of a half inch bottle neck I had a 3/8" one. Also had a rusted out hose filter clogging up the works.

18 inch Hannay reels are stackable. I have 200 feet of 3/4 inch Flexzilla on mine & it can probably hold another 100. I roll off what I need & hook it straight to the float valve. Takes 30 seconds & eliminates unnecessary restriction.
