Hose management idea

Lil kids started saying it when they jump off of dangerously high curbs. It means you only live once

You only live once.
Ha! That’s funny and fitting when I bought it. .

Never heard of it until now. Man I’m behind the times of the hip acronym’s.

Roll up your pressure hose and then wrap your garden hose around a couple times, onto itself so that it holds the end on the reel…then you can crank away, reeling the rest on there…you’re overthinking and over engineering it.

Don’t worry about connector. Once you make one loop with the garden hose and overlap end it’ll probably be fine to roll the rest of the way. Try it, bet after a couple of times you’ll have it down pat.

Sorry @HydroCleanExteriors, didn’t see yours till after I posted.

Awesome thanks everyone! Got the reel installed last night. 18” is massive! Hoping when I upgrade to a single 200’ pressure hose I can fit both it and 100’ flexzilla 5/8”.

I did end up making a connector from amazon pieces. 3/4” Female garden hose to 1/2” mpt. Then female 1/2” mpt to 3/8” mpt. Will add the plug and see how it all works out. But after reading your input probably won’t even use it lol.

My cheapo 3/4 100ft hose takes the exact same space of 200ft 3/8 (my 3/8 press hose is a tiny bit smaller than the average 3/8hose).

Jaime, For someone so particular about their trailer and even your grill is always organized, you’ve got to be the worse hose roller ever, lol.

Ok so since I ordered the connector a few days ago and it came in with the hose I tried it and all it did was make a big lump in the reel lol. I did end up wrapping the flexzilla around itself a few times and doing it that way. Was kind of a pain but maybe I’ll get better at it.

Rig is almost complete just ran out of time to weld the recovery unit stabilizer onto the stainless diamond plate it sits on. Here’s some pics

You could use something like this to strap the two together.

Nice looking truck. No ladders?

Thank you. No haven’t really needed them except a couple times. I have a bucket truck for my electrical sign company and bring that when needed. I can put a little giant or extension across the top if I really need to bring one. I’m getting 40’ with the m5ds nozzle and it’s been working great! Add the 79” lance or telescoping pole when required. We built the frame underneath to hide/lock up the surface cleaner and other items. It’s amazing how much I fit into this 8’ bed! 200 gal tote and 2 55 chem tanks.

I don’t see how you fit all that in either. we gotta talk, Lol.
I got a 6,6 bed and a 16ft trailer behind it and couldn’t shove a needle in either of them with a sledgehammer .

Lol anytime man. I’ll post more pics later. The pw I got is only 34” front to back and 51” left to right but it’s tall! There are two 18 gallon diesel tanks under it too. Thank god for airbags lol
