I would suggest starting at 4gpm. Your pump is the heart of your equipment. You could definitely find a 4000 psi 4gpm general pump setup in your price range
General pumps are great and I meant to ask what kind of work will you be doing the most? Keep reading up on the forum, there is more info in the archives that will point you in the direction you need to go.
90% Residential, Soft Washing and deck paint removal and stuff like that… I get nasty jobs from time to time like cleaning the back walk ways of restaurants ect…

If you’re going to be paying $999 off eBay why not just deal through one of the vendors that everyone loves and preach about on here… Contact pressure tek, KEC Supplies or South side equipment and buy with confidence.
Because you don’t know what you don’t know. You are currently confusing the act of not spending money with the art of making money.
That last one you posted looks to be a direct drive with an internal unloader. Junk.
The price appears attractive because you are getting only half of the machine that you would get if you bought from a vendor that actually knew the industry and would not steer you wrong. For me, that is Bob at Pressure Tek.
Select the vendor that you are most comfortable with but you will not find him on eBay.
If you want to be a professional power washer and charge professional prices, get your equipment from a reputable power washing supplier. You may think you’re paying more but the difference in quality will more than pay for the difference in acquisition cost.
Thank you to all so far for the guidance, I may take a different route, here is were I stand… I been reading lots about hot water machines…
