Had a call to wash concrete at a Home Depot today. Im sure someone in here has done one. Please message me if willing to offer up any info on this.
@allofthedetails are they gonna let you use store equipment? How many spickets they got?
I did a Home Depot garden center last year. Pretty straight forward
I am more interested in how the job was booked. General manager, corporate office or sub contracted from someone.
I have the equipment needed so i should be set in that area.
Not quite the same, but I have cleaned the windows at a Lowes a couple times.
We would get a call from a third party maintenance coordinator saying they needed a local Lowes cleaned. I would then negotiate a price (usually too darn low), get a manager contact and go meet at the store.
After discussing start/finish times we then did the cleaning, and once completed I would have to hunt down the sole person that was allowed to sign off our authorization sheet. Half the time they were out to lunch or buried in some back room, never to be found.
Once signed I was instructed to go online and scan the letter for the third party company to verify the work was done. We would then wait for the check to arrive in the mail, usually two weeks or so.
Granted this was about ten years ago, but I suspect procedures are still similar.
it’s how they save money…by holding on to yours
Looks like this contracting place does lowes also. I guess I will have to see if i can spin this into more than one store.
