High rise window pressure washing

Hi guys!
I really need your help with one question.
I got a 33 floor building which nobody washed before. Problem is there balconies like chess desk and no holes and no anchors to do rope to rope transfers and windows are pretty far to reach them. I thought maybe it is possible to do it with power washing, but some people told me it is not good idea to use pressure washing for windows. Building is new(5 years). Maybe you can advice some kind of way to do it.
Thank you so much!

How long you been doing this?

Are you washing the building or the windows?

Hmm.

Some of the dirt and urban grime will come off windows with light pressure/surfactant but you really want physical contact to get the majority off.

Did some rope work back in my 20’s, seen my fair share of highrise WC.

You need to be on the Window cleaning forum. I doubt anyone here has ever done anything like that.

Sweet

But nobody answering there

The difference between window cleaners and pressure washers during the busy season: how hard they work.

Half the time I’m power washing, I’m on the forum while the soap is dwelling. Not as much downtime when I’m cleaning windows :man_shrugging:. Even less downtime for those who do high rise.

Maybe their forum is redirecting here now… you wanna see irritated? Force strictly window cleaners to interact with pressure washing people. It’d be like the Hatfields & McCoys. Lol

More like Golden Retrievers and angry Chihuahua’s.

More like fritters and bear claws.

Wait, which group are you comparing to angry chihuahuas?

Nevermind. Don’t answer that one. There’s no good that can come from it, either way :joy:

Yea, don’t stir the pot. No one needs to get hit in the back of the head with a sectional ladder…

Ok, to try and answer your question, even though I know very little about rope descent or high rise in general:

I would explore the possibility of using a waterfed pole from your chair.

Usually I’m using WFP, but not at this building. There Juliet balcony glasses need to be cleaned from inside and outside. Between Juliet and doors very little space less than 3cm. And also very hard to reach this windows, because there under the balcony. Only way what I see using PW.

Is it good idea to use Pure Water thru the PW machine?
