Help with chem injector/ adjuster plz

I have the 5.6gpm 2500 pressure pro notice last job wasn’t sucking chem as efficient, I tried a new mix and more elemonator still did nothing, I messed with the unloaded adjuster and nothing. Bought a new chem injector piece and soon as I put it on it sucked up and spit out a lot of soap so I know that was the issue. The problem now is I was doing a house wash of mildew and it hasn’t come off from the mix and even with a new mix , I think it might be from messing with the unloaded adjuster twist knob. Any advice how to correct this issue would be greatly appreciated

Is it pulling mix from the bucket? Your saying you sprayed the siding using the new injector and the mildew didn’t come off?

When you are adjusting an unloader, and it should never, ever be adjusted except for the initial install, do not start the machine without the trigger being pulled. Best to either us an open gun or zip tie the trigger open. They can detonate just like a grenade. I had one go bad and the guy didn’t know to keep the trigger open and walk back to the truck and turn the machine off. He dropped the gun and it exploded while he was walking to the truck. It took out the back glass of the truck and threw shrapnel 30 feet away. Gauges have no place in setting an unloader. Adjust for max flow, pressure is irrelevant

“Gauges have no place in setting and unloader.” LOL that is precisely what they are made for and a must have.

You zip tie a trigger gun open every time you start the machine? Why would you do that.

If anyone else on here sets an unloader without the use of a gauge like innocent please chime in.

Just the first time you set the unloader is what he was saying…

I learned to do it the way he says because like he said, I need flow and not pressure as I’m downstreaming 95% of the time.

Man, it’s fun to see you pop in from time to time to troll and stir the pot, but at least make it challenging lol

I have to agree with iBS on this, it is a granade

I do.
The way you set it is open your ball vfc alve, no gun no tips.
Fire it up.
Let it run.
Close ball valve, hook gun and zero tip.
Pull trigger and make sure you have some tickle water going on to your bypass.
If you want you can have a good gage to monitor this.

Please, no one listen to this. This will get soneone hurt. DO NOT DO THIS

It is pulling chem. It seems that it isn’t pulling the same strength as it use to. I am using the same mix I have always used and never had an issue downstreaming to where light mildew didn’t come offf vinyl with one pass.

If it’s pulling chemical but not as much you may just have to strengthen your mix up. Not really a bad thing!

Yea just trying to get my unloaded back to near factory setting before I messed with it. Surprised how quickly the chem injector fail, in only one year.
