Help configuring my trailer

Does it hurt anything to have it rolled like mine? We had to unroll all 200’ to get the back of the house and it was a real bear walking back and forth when reeling back on.

Nah its more of presentation for me but yours is hidden

When you make your way back to the trailer, pull the hose with you in sections. Grab a piece of the hose every 50’ or so, so that when you get back to the trailer you’ve basically got several rows of straight hose, and you’re never pulling more than 50’ of hose while winding the reel.

I don’t think it really hurts anything winding it the way you did, but if you don’t pull all of it off the reel, the kick from the unloader bypassing will cause it to bunch up into knots on itself. Real pain to unreel at that point.

Gotcha, thanks.

I did learn a valuable lesson though. I was testing the setup the night before with the hose on and the reel was locked. Two of the nuts worked loose and I found them on the floor.:flushed:

I asked this separately on another section with no replies yet…what would you recommend sealing the plywood floor with? I have the occasional drips and really don’t want it to cause damage.

My brakes on the titans come loose alittle going down the road. Put locking nuts on them or lock tight. Id rather go with nylon locking nuts.

Line-X, Behr Deckover, there’s a few other popular options.

I paint my floor every year with deck paint. I put a large 5x3 mat down where I put my pails and buckets so it doesn’t tear up the paint. I will use bedliner in my next trailer.

There was a thread on here where someone used like a rhino liner in their trailer. It looked good too.

That’s looking way better amigo! Those totes take up entirely too much room but you’ll get her squared away eventually.

Thank you! It’s getting there.

After much discussion we picked up some Rustoleum truck bed spray liner at Lowes, hopefully it works well enough.

@SchertzServicesLLC and I both used raptor liner. Mines going strong over two years, only fading in small areas where I left a brush that wasn’t rinsed. Id use it again in a heartbeat

Hows yours holding up Chris?

Raptor liner is what Ive been planning on using. Im glad you did it and that its held up.

Held up great with all the salt exposure! one small area where i had some SH dripping has worn off. Would use it again as well!

Anyone can spray this stuff and it will always look like it was applied evenly.

Had the same thing just happen to me this week where my lower fitting came loose. Only down side is there was 60 gallons of SH in there and didn’t feel like draining it so went all day and emptied the tank till it was low enough to fix the gasket.

Fast forward to this morning with another 30 gallons in there and still leaking…

Happy Hump Day!
