I’d like to hear some insight on the topic of some chemical reactions such as SH and ox. Once mixed does this create a visible gas ? Is diluted SH mixed with oxalic acid dangerous as well? Does cleaning a deck with SH then rinsing and applying OX have any chemicals reactions ? If one was exposed to such gases what is the safety procedure prior ? Asking these questions due to a cleaning I did earlier this morning where I put OX into my pump up sprayer which was used prior to apply SH. The sprayer was rinsed thoroughly but I am still curious.
It’s always good to know how things you use regularly will interact. My best suggestion is to use a dedicated container for each individual chemical and label them accordingly. You can get decent two gallon pump sprayers with adjustable tips and viton seals at Walmart for $12.
