Has anyone heard of these before?

I was shopping around last night for a new pressure washer and stumbled on the setup below. I am not familiar with them at all and could not find much information online.

For the price point it is much lower than a Honda and I believe it said the price includes shipping from Canada. Just curious if anyone has ever seen these or what your thoughts may be. It does seem to good to be true but figured I’d be doing myself a disservice by not at least throwing it out there.

no, never heard of a loncin engine. With no research whatsoever I will give you my .02. If everyone on this forum recommends going with a honda engine, maybe go with a honda engine. Buy once cry once is the mantra here. Sure, maybe this is a good unit, maybe the engine is decent, maybe not.

I had a Loncin engine on an old snowblower or tiller or something… I can’t remember, but they are big in the motorcycle world (make parts for bmw?). Did alright for what it was, but no comparison to Honda. I’ve only ever seen Canpump’s sold through the companies website and amazon… so thats saying something. When I first started looking into gear and belt drive pumps some people suggested them since it’s the cheapest brand for entry into the non-direct drive world. This is most likely and example of you get what you pay for.

I’m a little dubious of the 3500/9.2 claim.

They skimped on a belt guard (an important safety item) so I’m willing to bet they cut more corners than that. Hard pass.

It is a bit odd, imo, that they don’t show a picture of that side of the unit. Good call on the safety aspect.

Thanks for all the input. We will see how March goes. I don’t use my pressure washer enough to justify spending 4K right now on an upgrade.
