Has anyone had any experience with Cleansol BC?

I apologize I never got back to y’all. Iv been trying to forget this job. But the next day she text me back after I gave her a ultimatum of using the Kurd kutter like she wanted me to use(just to ease her mind) or let her know when I received the clenson product. But she said that the back doesn’t look bad from a distance hopping it will even out in time and that she she try the krud kutter on the front herself. Haven’t heard from her since. Thank y’all for y’all advice! Really appreciate it!

Hey, just saw this, we don’t push the delivery of our product from here because of the price in freight. If a local distributor has it, great we saved you money. If they dont and you asked them about and they ordered it then thats good to. The more people asking about these products the more likelihood they may start to carry them thus cutting the cost to you. But as always we would defiantly ship anything you need out. The ultimate goal is to get our distributors to carry a more variety of our products.

Brian, did that test occur yet, and could you report the outcome?

It has not. The furthest I got was looking online trying to find a local distributor…lol. I’ll try and call around or order online so I can put it to the test in the next week or two. Hopefully you’re not looking for an answer asap. I might not have picked up any Cleansol BC but I do have a brisket in the fridge. Just need to figure out a day to smoke it. I’m going to try your corned beef sometime and make some pastrami. It’s fun experimenting with different stuff. I went through a homemade cheese phase for awhile. That was neat.

Maybe if you’d invite me to run around your track with you I could lose some weight and be a little better with those nunchucks.

Hello all, we have bought and used Cleansol BC. We have had great success with this product. However, it comes quite concentrated and needs to be diluted 4:1 before doing anything else. Then, it needs to be diluted from that point for the job you are doing.

Basically, one gallon is really four gallons of product. If you use it at the 4:1 ration you will take the paint, on painted surfaces clean off, and I do mean CLEAN!

Outstanding product.

Where would be our best bet to order some Cleansol BC in the Ottawa Ontario area in Canada? Are there any Canadian distributors?

Thanks

Thank you. I asked on the forum as I assumed it was hard to get here like many chemicals and I figured if i had a response it would help fellow Canadians in the future. BUT there are suppliers all over the place with this product which is good news. The link is great.

We are trying to get our Canadian Distributors to carry more of the specialty chemicals like Cleansol and Hot Stain Remover right now they are mostly carrying the Masonry products such as NMD-80, OneRestore, and Ef-Fortless… but the more contractors that ask the distributors for products such as Cleansol BC the more likelihood they will start to carry them. Also if they don’t carry them ask them if they can order them in for you on their next shipment to cut on shipping costs to you.

WHy do I have to have cookies installed on my PC to see where your distributors are? I just wanted to price out the product for a very badly (IBS walkaway) oxidized house.

sorry for the late response, I talked to our I.T. guy and he is looking into it. if you have any questions or need help finding a distributor just give us a call. 724-656-1055

Are there instructions for using it to remove oxidation on vinyl? I have looked around and found various answers.

Its on the bucket, I’ll look for mine and take a pic for you.

well he answered it and I’m having troubles uploading pics right now. cut 1:4 then DS

Pre wet area, apply two quick applications 3-5 minutes apart without rinsing in between, then rinse.

Last time I used it on really heavily oxidized shutters it didn’t seem to work at all. In ray’s video he did wind up brushing a couple of sections on the house even after pre cleaning the home then applying cleansol BC. He talked about a pink color. I never saw pink color.

I used it cut 1:4 then mixed about 6 or 8 to 1 in a pump up to remove oil overspray, worked great.

All I can say is do a test area and make sure it’s fully dry to see the outcome. I tried to use it on mildly oxidized stucco and it made it look worse. Lots of blemishes after. Initial prep of the product requires dilution. Mix 1 part product per 4 parts water. Then it’s ready to use. Meaning then you can mix it 1:1 again to ds at 10-1 or what I did was ds it straight (after the initial 1:4 mix ratio.

@Seandz and @Dirtyboy what kind of coverage are you getting? I’m doing a one story for a friend. About 2,000 sq ft.

Sorry, would have replied sooner but bank runs, post office, insurance calls, estimate scheduling etc.

product sheet says 100-250 sq ft. All I know is I have a 5 gallon bucket, if you cut it 4:1 then DS that is going to last awhile. I ordered it, used it on one side of a house with no noticeable difference, then used it again on another house (2 sides), I still have about 3 gallons. One house was aluminum the other was vinyl.

To be clear, when I used it on the oil overspray it was cut 4:1 then cut again to 6 or 8 to 1 (can’t remember). I had extra in my pump up that I dumped. The remainder of the 5 gallon pail is sitting in my basement collecting dust. Supposedly it makes a great car cleaner too, but I am guessing it is cut 4:1 then at least cut maybe 15:1.

It was kinda pricey, but not like HCS 400 pricey (with shipping). I live in PA and it is made in PA and I had it shipped to a masonry vendor who had a small markup. All my eaco chems get ordered through them, saves on shipping for me. You may not have that available to you. I have gotten someone on the phone through eaco chem everytime I called them, they were very helpful but expect to get a standard chemical company dance on the abilities of their products (liability issues and all).
