Hannay reels

This is why you buy hannay reels same motor since 2001 and have unrolled and rolled up enough times to wear the finish off

I have GP reels. I purchased them because of the price. The handles are bent. Drag brakes are shot. Something is wrong with a manifold causing restriction for my roof setup. I’ll be going with Titan or Hannay next time. I have them stacked three high. I don’t think Hannay sells the stacking kits. I’ll have to do something I’ve been wanting to learn. Weld

Titan or Hannay?

Hannay has a stacking kit. dultmier has them but they are not for electric. Does anyone have any experience with valley industries reels? I’m looking at an electric one for my 12volt. I love my gen3 but the reel is to small for 250 feet. I’ve thought about cutting 50 feet off because I never really need that much.

Harold, Hannay sells the stacking kits. I bought them last year when I was running out of a trailer, but now that I have a truck mounted setup, I have no use for them. It’s just two rectangular brackets. I’ll send them your way for cheap if you want them…This is for the electric series. I have the manual ones I just can’t find them online.

You’d still need another set if you wanted to go three high.

I had one. I had the stainless reel with the pvc in the middle spool. It came warped. When spun straight out of the box you could see it looked like a warped bicycle tire. I sent it back and stacked another gp reel instead. I think I had a dud. I never used it but it looked like it would stand up to the SH. That’s why I bought it originally. The handle on it felt kinda flimsey but I suppose you would be fine as long as you place the hose in a position that doesn’t put too much stress on the reel.

I appreciate it but I’m going to run the gp reels for a while longer until they can’t go anymore. I’m just bypassing the reel for my roof pump. I think they have another year in them. Definitely gonna go Hannay or titan next time around.

They sent me the wrong ones. they wouldn’t clear the motor’s on my reels. I wound up making my own. that was on my old trailer. I now have one on the right side and one on the rear.

Titan is junk. Buy once. Buy Hannah.

I think so, but a non stainless will get you 15 years or so of daily use
