Hanging surface cleaner in enclosed trailer

Anyone hang their surface cleaner from the ceiling in their enclosed trailer? If so how? I’m remodeling and need the room on my wall.

Also wondering except I want to mount one to my open trailer.

Post a picture of the roof in your trailer. I’m visioning this to being a easy thing to do but need to see what your working with.

Make a bulkhead box out of lumber or square tubing to insert the head of the surface cleaner in. From there use a strap fastener of some sort to hold the arm up thats easily removable. Velcro would even work the weight is all at the base of the cleaner.

That’s what I did, Make a template of the head of cleaner, build box with notches, line with tool box mat, and use Velcro strap hung from cross member to secure handle of cleaner…works beautifully

Thanks @AquaTeamPowerWash . I’m going to try to see if that will work.

@Monsterpowerwashing looks like it works well. I’m guessing it’s easy to put up.

It works great, totally out of the way, protected…I used L brackets and self tappers to mount box…and husky heavy duty Velcro strap attached to eyelet…

@Justin_Treu I traced a template from sc head, framed out box, padded with tool box drawer foam. L brackets and self tapping screws right into roof joist of trailer. Husky heavy duty Velcro strap to hold handle. The whole thing works great, in out easy, has some play to allow some shock absorption when driving, and completely out of way. Hope this helps, Any problems don’t hesitate to ask…JB

Drill a 5/8’s hole in that channel. Slide a lock washer and nut in with a magnet and bolt that sucker up. Those sheet metal screws are really going to tick you off of one day when you hit that pot hole or dead cow etc in the road.

Thanks nice little setup … should get my trailer in about 4 weeks they had to order … do 7x12 tandem with barn doors

Clean looking layout in that trailer, nicely done

@Monsterpowerwashing very nice build in the trailer looks great. What size are you running?
