Gx630 corrosion protection

Just wondering on my gx630 does anybody spray the area around the starter where all the wires are with some kind of protective that is safe for electronic wiring and connections?

I think about it every 3 or 4 years but have never gotten around to it. As long as you unplug all the connections when you get one and apply dielectric grease you should be good for a few thousand hours of working on the rain, snow etc.

Yeah I just figured it’d be easy enough to spray something on it every week or every month on all the connections

It’s like people spraying wd40 on quick connects or soaking injectors in water. It does absolutely nothing, but it’s cheap, doesn’t hurt anything and makes people feel good. Placebo.

Dielectric grease isn’t a spray.

Pretty sure they’re talking about 2 different products.
