Looking at a hydro-tek hot 8gpm skid from a local. Was planning on ordering 2 new cold water skids but this guy is asking 3500 for the hydrotek skid lightly used 1 day a week for fleet washing seems like a decent deal. This left me with the other option of upgrading one of our 4gpm machines to a 5.5gpm general pump. Anybody done this? Worth upgrading to the 5.5 over a 4gpm?
And yes, i know we will see a considerable pressure drop from 4000 to 2500 from what im seeing on general pump specs. We will still keep a 4000psi 4gpm machine in trailer for other situations. Not sure if i would notice the difference in the psi drop…
