Why would i want the the honda gx630 over the gx390 for 5.5gpm? I’m seeing most or all have setups have the gx390 at 3000psi and the gx 630 with 3500 psi but If found a 5.0 setup with the same 3500 psi for both then why the bigger engine? I know most people say all you need is 3500 psi but i might like the 4000psi. I do see on the powerwashing store they do have more combos where you can get a gx630 with 4.5,5,0, 5.5 gpm with 4000psi and cat, GP or AR pumps.
You can always upgrade to a bigger pump in the future with the 630 vs the 390. Maxed out already on the 390……
Just light it up and get it done, bleach blaster.

You won’t get 3000psi and 5.5 with a 390, maybe 2500.
I (foolishly) bought a 5.5/3500 630 when I could have bought the 8gpm/3500 690 for $500 more. It all worked out though, Russ hooked me up with a gearbox and a 8gpm pump. I’ve never needed more than 3000psi anyway.

Texan you’re jealous of my username dude you can be bleach blaster 2.0 its ok ill give it to you. so the reason i would do 5.5gpm is because I’m not carrying a lot of water
You don’t need to carry water. I run a 8gpm and my buffer tank is only 55gal.

dcbrock yeah maybe but doing something of longer continuous use like a surface cleaner could catch up to you . i wonder what the math is for that 55 gallon on the trigger no letting off . id have to figure it out
