$1.00 per linear foot. More if it’s crazy or more difficult.

Ok so I am not to far off. I was quoting 1.50 for a two story house. I have not quoted many gutters yet so I just making sure I am not too far off. Thanks cdubbs

$1.50/foot for 2nd story is quite fair. We’re usually $1/foot first floor, $2/foot second floor, etc. I’ll charge extra if there is stuff visibly growing out of the gutters
Oh, and we have a minimum charge based on distance. $75 for around town, $125 a little further out, and $250 if someone calls from Jamaica (VT), or Florida (Mass.)
The “Going Rate” is whatever you charge or makes your profit…Lead, don’t follow.
At this time of year we don’t have time for “just” gutter cleaning…but when we do it, ain’t $1-$2 a ft.
Now is that on top of the house cleaning of if they just want the gutters cleaned

Gutter cleaning prices are more about set up, tear down and drive time than linear feet. Consider 30 minute drive time and 15 minute setup and tear down for 45 min total. Consider 4 ft per minute cleaning time. 60 ft of gutters takes 1 hour. total @ $1/ft that’s $60/hour. Now do a home with 200ft of gutter for $200. That takes 1 hour 35 minutes or $130 per hour. I’d bid a service fee plus $x per foot.
I’m kinda digging this idea- it’s simple and makes sense from both a business and consumer point of view. Thanks
it will also shift your business to larger jobs since you can be more competitive on those.
