Do you guys know if there is a pricing range or guide for gutter cleaning based on square footage of house? Sometimes people call, I’m thinking of a way I can give a quick estimate price range based on their square footage? There’s an app where you can measure the roof by typing in their address.
Granted I prefer to do an estimate in person, but sometimes giving a price range over the phone can save me time.
We don’t do stand alone gutter cleaning jobs, but we refer it out to a company that all they do is gutter cleaning and guards. He tells them on the phone the range for an average 2 story suburban house 2500-3000 SF is $99-129 depending on complexity, but his minimum on smaller houses is $79.
Anything above 3000 SF and 2-story your best option is to go, but create a range $149-$239 for example and if there’s anything weird that may cause an increased price you’ll call them for permission first.

Same here, I refer to a company that does nothing but.
I charge by the foot with a $85 minimum and use google maps for measurements.

He has over 200 reviews online and when he stops at the house to do a job his guys do it and he knocks on doors while they get it done. So they pretty typically do three and four houses when they stop at one. And they do them in 10-15 minutes usually.
His main focus is to upsell gutter guards. But the dude could sell ice to eskimos.
Pretty cool business model actually. Two guys clean residential gutters while he sells. Another truck does commercial. And another crew installs.

I feel kinda bad about it but I quoted a sorority house $475 to clean their gutters. I didn’t want to do it and hoped if I bid it high I wouldn’t get it. I figured it would take me 2 hours tops. Did it today after work in 45 minutes…

Right click … measure distance…click to where you want to measure.
Play with it for 5 minutes and you’ll get it
