Gutter cleaning F-13 Gutter Grenade

So I used F-13 Gutter Grenade on regular gutters that where only a few years old. And after cleaning in spots the gutters turned green. This have never happened to me before. Does anyone know what happened?

Hard to tell from the picture. Are you sure you just didn’t remove too much paint to where you’re seeing the aluminum coming through? That’s easy to do if you scrub too much.

Or don’t dilute enough.

I’m starting to think I didn’t dilute it enough and it was me taking the paint off

They sell flat white spray paint at every hardware store. I think they even sell a can called gutter touch up. It’s an easy fix. I stripped a gutter bear once when I first started. If your going to clean them with 13 you need to get a feel for the concentration and the dwell time. I switched to degreaser if we really need it. I wont spray anything stronger than hw on any gutter that looks old.or painted and I make sure to mention it in the initial walk through pre wash.

That’s great advice thanks so much!

Dilution, dwell time and air temperatures is where it’s at. Touch and go sometimes with brightening. I’ll do it if a customer really wants it but 90% of the time they are fine with hw mix cleaning them. Anyways…hope it works out for you.

I haven’t touched my gutter grenade in 2 years. That’s the best advice that can be given.
