Green deck boards

I read a few threads on this issue, thought I’d check with the veteran wood cleaners on this.

More than a few times I end up with this after 1500psi basic clean that the customer requested.

It’s weird, there wasn’t any algae growth on that section, just greyed wood. How would you approach this, chem wise? BTW downstreaming SH didn’t phase it.

Nothing I’ve tried will touch it, it’s embedded beneath the surface of the wood. It looks much better when dry

That’s what the customer said as well. I don’t suppose metasilicate would do anything?

That is pressure treated wood and what you are seeing is the copper treatment that is in the wood itself.
