On the concrete cleaning subject. What would you guys use for cleaning this Driveway? Really old oil stains on my father’s driveway.
sorry, after pic doesn’t show it, but that oil stain is still there. This wasn’t me that cleaned it, I let my younger brother run the surface cleaner to get some practice.

Greasy donut customer emailed me back. Of course after not hearing from him for a while and reaching out again since Joist told me he had already viewed my estimate.
Here is his response, and how I responded back to him. I literally laughed out loud when I read his email. My wife thought I was nuts lol.

Is that what you guys do typically when someone turns you down and then calls you back when they realize it’s not as easy to clean as it looks?
Well he said he found an additional area that needed cleaned.
“When the grease doesn’t come out or the sidewalk gets damaged…” Sounds a bit harsh. Maybe something along the lines of “If you need any help removing the oil stains or want your weekends back give me a call, but do consider the costs of a heated pressure washer, surface cleaner, materials, decreases, fuel and time, before making a costly investment you could instead put towards your business and focus on what you do best. Wish you the best of luck and don’t hesitate to call or text me if you have any questions”

Don’t burn bridges. Talking smart to a potential customer might feel good at the moment. The guy is trying to save money. Nothing wrong with that. When he can’t get it clean or a health inspector demands it be cleaned he won’t be calling you. Just something to think about. I personally wouldn’t have wasted the time giving an estimate. I like vinyl to much lol

Thanks for the tips! The guy has been a hassle and flaky and I driver over an hour to give him the estimate. I’ll be okay if he doesn’t call me back. But I’ll keep that in mind for other estimates! Thanks!
