A large home with stucco all around but small strips of polished granite everywhere. Need to wash the algae off the stucco but granite is in the way, strips halfway up the wall etc. Steps and patios are granite too but not polished.
Will regular sh mix damage the granite parts? If so, what alternatives are there?
There are also sections of wood painted black here and there, just to make things more interesting… Thanks
I’m sure people use bleach or cleaning wipes on their counter tops everyday

I think most people’s countertops aren’t real granite? Also, if it is then it would likely be sealed i guess? Maybe not that trim on the house?
My honest opinion has to be that you’re not ready for this job. You could call a more experienced contractor, have them come out and do it and you can go and observe and learn.
That being said, if you insist on doing it, hit a small area with your mix - rinse thoroughly and then wait and see if it was affected negatively.
Interesting opinion. I’m definitely ok with doing this job though. Just asking about the granite as out of hundreds of homes i washed it’s the only one with this material.
The granite will be fine.
