Grain tent clean up

I’m looking for suggestions to clean up this grain loading tent. I’m thinking to downstream sh and a mild detergent to break the surface tension such as simple green or ebc. Could possibly get away with just sh and stomenade.

Has any cleaned this type of project before?

I’m finding mixed results when searching if sh is safe for vinyl tents. Some say yes when diluted properly. Others say no. I’m wondering is sodium percabonate would be a safer option.

If it’s vinyl like the rental tents for weddings and events then you can wash with SH. Those tents are fibers covered in vinyl. It’s the same stuff they make 18 wheeler tarps out of. It’s super tough stuff.

That’s what I was thinking as well. The outside has some organics that downstreaming should clean right up. Any suggestions on chemical to clean up the corn dust coated inside walls/ceilings? I’ll probably try regular housewash but has some mild detergent available such as simple green. I believe warm water will help.

Just thinking out loud here, but Dawn is already formulated to break down food bonds. Edit: so with that in mind, and corn having ol, maybe a degreaser? Feel free to tell me I’m wrong.

@Harold sh will work fine on the outside, clean it like you would a vinyl house, sh doesn’t have to be strong at all. on the inside however be sure to wear a respirator, dust from old mouldy crops can make you really sick they call it “farmers lungs” plenty of information on google about symptoms and side effects.

I’ve just submitted the bid at this point. If it’s accepted we will surely be wearing respiratory protection for the interior cleaning. I’ve allotted 3 dats for the bid. Anticipating 2 days to complete. Depending on how sticky that grain is to the vinyl. I’m assuming it should slide right off with a mild detergent and warm water. Hopefully we get it. I enjoy new stuff such as this.

Is this for edible grain? I’d be concerned about introducing chems into the food chain.
