Got my rig built!

Finally got my rig built. Pushing a pressure washer around on it’s little cart is for the birds. I decided to start off with at least one hose reel and on-board chemical storage. I’m hunting the big jobs.

I went with a dual axle due to the weight I’m carrying. No idea on their weight rating each, but they were kinda heavy coming out of the box so I bet they’ll hold a lot of weight. Honda motor 3k psi pump. It’s a DEM pump but it has cool shiny bits on it and it shipped for free from PWD.com. It’s a 2.5gpm. For all you newbs, that means I can fill 2 and half milk jugs with water every minute. I bet I could also blast through the bottom of one with my 0 degree tip. It’s pretty powerful. I won’t put my hand in front of it when it’s running!

It’s a little clunky, but it pulls real smooth. You 8gpm guys don’t know what you’re missing. 25 ft of hose means I’m always having to adjust its position in the yard. I’m putting eyes on the motor while it’s running at least once every 10 minutes. That’ll add a year or two to it’s longevity which means more money in my pocket.

I was thinking of doing a PDF write up or a YouTube video on the build. I figured since this rig costs a fraction of what most guys are running, I could charge $199 for the plans and still come in at a bargain. If there’s enough interest, I’ll offer a PWRA discount at $195 each. Group buy?

I love your rig! And the best part is you don’t have to buy some big expensive truck to pull it, you just need a couple of 7 year olds. Now the same people who will tell you to get a 5.5 GPM machine are going to tell you you have to get a van that is professionally lettered or wrapped saying “Free Candy” to get those kids. Nonsense! Just grab a can of spraypaint and write “Free Wi-Fi and Fidget Spinners” on the side of that van and BOOM - free labor!

:joy: That’s the same thing our local Thumbtack, $99 guy has! Except your Honda beats his Briggs & Stratton hands down!

I actually saw him pulled over the other day. I think we’re all here in KC hoping he’s locked away for awhile. Lol

He pulls up on his lawn mower pulling his big rig and he is getting customers like a boss.

Still saving up for a tow rig, unfortunately. As of now, I have to pull it.

Home Depot had some pretty nice riding ones on sale last time I was there. What brand would you recommend?

Blue prints are for buildings, this thing deserves its own build thread!

Or just leave the deck on and offer a lawn mowing service as well :+1:

Most of the new mower decks have a hose connection. You can hook your SH pump right to the deck and surface clean as you go…
