Good pressure / soft wash / roof cleaning training for newbies

But do you really think someone made that account 2 years ago, with the intent of spamming for SEO 2 years later? No one can say what is going to drive SEO next month anymore, much less 2 years from now…

I hear ya. I still dont think a guy needs to pay someone to learn how to fling bleach at any concentration. It is pretty simple and its all here. And I dont believe a “softwash coach” can teach me more about business than a business course or mentor. I refuse to sell a trademarked “process”. And I really do not think a fairly unregulated industry needs a self proclaimed pro to certify us in something that has no required certification (most places). All to lead a potential customer to believe we are certified in something that has no governing authority, or a washer to think he is special. Its all crap.

While you may be a very special trained business guy (I dont know you), its not from some week long softwash academy giving you their approval. A good business person can run a wash company or a landscape company or a construction company etc. The service makes no difference. Simply insert service type here… Business management is what you/we do, at different levels.

I maintain if a guy wants to wash at any level, this forum and specialized classes/courses are superior to these softwash “instructors” teaching how to run a business.

I would like to add that many perspectives are spoken for here. This forum is not a dogmatic right and wrong way kinda place. Some people are, forum not so much.

No doubt about that! The type of product matters almost not at all honestly.

I do speak from a place of having never been on a truck (other than to learn the processes, and try to keep myself mentally engaged every so often). I was thinking more of some guys I know who lost or left their FT job, and decided to start up a PW business. I could read about it all day long, but seeing it done once, and then getting to do it once (while being corrected if I mess up), would be all it would take for me to generally be able to go wash something. I pay monthly for a program that all my guys will go through before they see a truck seat (along with OSHA, gotta keep those premiums down!)…it’s basic, but I think it’s worth the drop in the bucket I pay for it, as long as I also market that my guys are seeing more training before they get into a truck, than most of my competitors guys get in a year. They’ll learn 100x that 1st week in the truck what they got from those videos, but they’ll have some sense of terminology/chem safety/equip. safety before they do. But I have no qualms about marketing it either. In fact, I need to follow up with the guy who is supposed to be getting me a “cert. logo” so I can do just that. It’s partially a marketing investment, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong or immoral about that. I sell “premium service”, and I want to let them know how/why we warrant that. This is just one other way.

The militant! Lol. These charlatans were children kicking the ball around in there back yard when i got into business, I can smell there BS through the screen, my eyes are red and watery i might even be mildly concussed. I’m surprised with the marketing expertise you have your a bit standoffish on there marketing techniques. You haven’t dived as deep on there practices as you do with other posts? You normally write in depth paragraphs but this thread you make it about education rather than a charlatan syndicate being dishonest. How have you got the point of this thread so wrong?

Based on your info provided, I didn’t find it even worth the time to look them up.

 the point of this thread…
and I got the correct finger this time, hooray bigscreen monitor

I truely believe I can sell you a bag of ice for $80. This isn’t sarcasm.

Then you definitely do not know me at all…I’m outrageously cheap (our owner was even trying to hide purchases from me last year, lol). I am happy to spend on anything that I can logically defend the ROI on though.

And to be clear…if all of that is fabricated info on their marketing (which I’m left to assume that it is based on your analysis), I would never do business with them in any way, shape, or form.

I reckon I could get a fiver out of you for the bag as well. You wouldn’t even question it. You’d hand me that fiver and Ide shake your hand and you’d be on your way home.

But it is fabricated :joy::joy:. It’s not my opinion, it’s an image, a visual on the screen that’s published by them. There’s no “if’s” lol

I buy virtually all of our office supplies, and ice on occasion (I usually don’t buy ice) at the $1 store…if you beat that price, you may have a deal :money_mouth_face:

I say that only because I make a practice of never making an assertion myself, unless I have tracked it down first-hand (which this didn’t seem to warrant). I’d never say they are charlatans, but I probably would say that I’ve heard that. Also, you usually seem pretty thorough and trustworthy, so I didn’t see any need in proving a point you already made

Thanks for your posts. I actually did order that course and it is quite good. I’m almost halfway through it now. And by the way this thread is exactly why I don’t spend time on forums like this… countless hours wasted reading content from guys like MuscleMyHustle who want nothing more than to show everyone how smart they are. I’ve got better things to do.

I’m dying here

lol don’t blame the forum, this is a great place to be and learn from and not the opinion of the forum. It’s only me accusing these charlatans of preying on the weak with there BS. Surely there’s a way to mute me or ignore anything i say. Don’t be weak and let some random man on the internet chase you away.

You shouldn’t work so hard then…you can’t be that old :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You sir, are not random. Heinous adjectives come to mind, but not random lol. Or, as my Mom texts, “LRL”. Took a year to find out that meant laughing real low so she didn’t wake up grandbabies
