Looking for good training info on cleaning and bidding exhaust hoods. Not wanting to pay 3000+ for a course. Found this book on powerwash.com.
We don’t offer it so I haven’t watched it, but their training program includes a video course on the process too. I’d imagine it’s as good as the other series, which is generally plenty for someone new to something. Ultimately, I think you’ll still have to pony up for someone to truly train you to do those things. While I like the Powerwash Academy courses for new hires, I’d never run a new guy through them and send him out as solo tech on a job. He’s going to work with an experienced guy for a while to get the nuances and pitfalls of the job down first. So you’re probably going to need someone to truly teach you how to do this service, or learn things the hard way…
