GF metering ball valve ratio/%,s

Does anyone know what numbers on the 1/2” GF ball valves correspond with percentages of SH and soap? I built my on mixer but am having a hard time figuring out where to dial it in. Thanks for the help

Test it. Especially if you’re only here to market it.

Probably best if you know how it works.

Nice looking build! Great job. Same valves used in the proportioner. Go off of there scale and experiment to dial it in

Thanks for the pic I’ll try that out.

Not sure what gave you the idea that I was trying to sell it. Thanks for being an ■■■■■■■ though.:+1:

Typically folks who show up with a post like this with 12 minutes of read time and less than a day on the forum are usually the “but wait there’s more! For only $99…” crowd.

And winters around here bring some pretty strange new guys.

It’s that way more often than not, so if that wasn’t the case I’m not above apologizing. If you’d do us a favor and make a post introducing yourself that’d be awesome. Welcome to the forum. Hope you find it helpful.

10-4, thanks for clarifying. Definitely not trying to sell anything (unless you got a house that needs to be clean). I’m new to the whole thing and just want to learn as much as possible. I’ve spent the last year doing research and the last couple months building my rig. So just getting ready to jump in and see how it goes.

How much did your homemade proportioner cost in parts? How long to get it all put together?

I’ll be adding one to Truck Norris at some point this year, just trying to weigh the pros and cons.

I’m with @Infinity … I’ve been looking at the Pro Proportioner but haven’t bit the bullet. I would much rather build my own if it saves the coin.

I would never buy the full price one. For me, it’s a toss up between true DIY, and buying one made by that Peter fellow on FB who makes them in his garage.

The one with the GF valves was about $400 he other one was less than $100. Honestly, once you have all the parts you can put it together in about 30 minutes.

Not a chance… isn’t it $1200?!

Alex, I recently took the leap of faith and ordered one from a guy on here. I rarely buy anything from someone that I am unfamiliar with, which is why I say I took a leap of faith. However, I am very pleased with everything I got and the help he was in getting it all ordered. @LLSSJSSAS is who I got it from. If your interested, I’m sure he’d be glad to help. Very competitive pricing. I’m still working on getting everything hooked up, but as for the actual equipment everything looks great.
